“TALO Elements Ltd is impressed with the efficient warranty approval process of Premier Guarantee. We find the company to be solution focused with an advisory approach. We are pleased with our continued post-approval relationship with the Premier team, not only providing us swift and professional guidance but also giving our customers the confidence they need in using our building system.”

Bengt Magnussen, CEO, TALO Elements Ltd

Alexis Stickley, Research and Development Manager, discusses the approval process Talo Elements went through in order to be approved by Premier Guarantee.

In order to approve Talo Elements for warranty we first conducted an in-depth review of the design of their system.

This involved reviewing each component of the system and ensuring that they were being used in accordance with their third party accreditation and, when used as part of the system, would provide the required levels of durability. We also reviewed the system in relation to structural stability, fire safety, thermal and acoustic performance and resistance to moisture ingress.

Once we were satisfied that the system meets all of our technical requirements we conducted an inspection of Talo’s factory in Finland to assess the quality control processes in place and the way in which they are implemented within the factory. It is vital that we can be sure that the manufacturer is capable of producing a system which consistently satisfies the design parameters and our technical requirements. Talo Elements have full ISO 9001 accreditation which covers everything from the sourcing of timber from their own forests, through the manufacturing process to storage, site delivery and installation.

Having assessed both the design details of Talo Elements’ system and their quality control processes we were happy to issue them with a Premier Guarantee system approval, confirming that the Talo Elements system is acceptable for use on Premier Guarantee sites across the UK.
