The highly anticipated 2017 Premier Guarantee Excellence Awards took place at Aqua Shard on Wednesday 18th October. Hosted by broadcaster and former politician Michael Portillo, the event saw 120 customers, staff and guests gather at the world famous, iconic venue to celebrate the best of British building and to enjoy a pre-lunch drinks reception of champagne, cocktails and canapés. Guests were then treated to a 5 course meal, accompanied by musical entertainment by London-based acoustic band The Travelling Hands.
The ceremony was opened by Chairman and CEO Gary Devaney, setting the scene for our host for the day - a former conservative cabinet minister whose political career spanned 13 years, yet is perhaps now better known for travelling the world’s railways in brightly coloured suits… Mr Michael Portillo.
After a starter of Cured Monkfish and Cornish Crab it was time for the first set of awards, for which Premier Guarantee’s Managing Director Jacki Goodman was welcomed up to stage to assist Mr Portillo. The categories, highly commended and winning sites for these awards are as follows:

After the first set of awards a main course of Hereford Fillet Steak was served, accompanied by the sweet serenade of The Travelling Hands.
Glenn Gale, Premier Guarantee’s Sales Director, was then invited up to stage to co-host the second set of awards. The categories, winning and highly commended sites for these were:

A dessert course of Blood Orange and White Chocolate Lollipops and Salted Caramel Chocolate Mousse followed, hopefully leaving our guests with just enough room for one more set of awards. Gary Devaney was once again called up to stage to present the final two awards, Site Manager of the Year and Developer of the Year.
